BLUES INK Vol 1

I’m very happy to be part of BLUES INK vol. 1, an original project that brings together music, illustration, and storytelling.

 

This 170-page graphic novel is an experience to read, watch, and listen to: the blues comes to life through illustrated pages, words, and music thanks to QR codes that accompany the reading.

 

The project was created by Marco Calderone, illustrated by Marcello Milanese, featuring music by 13 Italian bluesmen and mastered at RedLand Studio by Stefano Malvasio.

 

I contributed with a blues by Mr. Albert King, which you can listen to here:

 

This track has never been released on record and was recorded together with Paolo Baltaro on drums and Daniele Mignone on bass.
